Being a community of like-minded individuals, there are times when it is good to socialise together. We always manage an evening social gathering early in our year. Other activities vary depending on community interests and support. At Christmas time we usually have a carol evening and social, which is well supported. Other activities have included; pot luck lunches and suppers, pancake brunches, bridge evenings, camping weekends, and walks in the Ngong Hills. No interesting idea ever goes unheeded, as long as it is backed up with time and effort to implement it.
Every Sunday after Mass we try and make available to anyone who wishes to join us coffee and tea. We think it important that we depend on community members to volunteer to make it. And for those who miss breakfast, the biscuits and cakes, which we ask members to bring on an alphabetic rota basis, are very welcome.
