Many of our children do not have access to Catholic schooling. Hence their religious formation is even more dependent than normal on the efforts of their parents. As a community we try to help our children and ourselves by organising a supplementary education programme. Already mentioned is our Children’s Liturgy. In addition we give particular attention to organising, again with volunteer parents and others, First Communion and Confirmation classes. Appropriately prepared children are offered an opportunity to receive the sacraments, normally in May towards the end of the school year.
