Sunday Mass 26 July 2020 10.00am
Dear CIC Member
Online Mass this Sunday 26 July 2020
With the blessings of the Parish and support from Fr. Sean Cremin, we will continue the Sunday online Masses from St Patrick’s and spread the word of the Lord. This will help reach our members that are not allowed to attend Mass due to the stipulated Government age restrictions. The link for this Sunday’s Mass is listed below
After meetings with the Fr. George Wambua, our Parish Priest, and after much deliberation taking into consideration the needs of the Loreto community and the Government guidelines for number of attendees and health protocols, it has been concluded that holding our regular Masses at the Loreto Msongari chapel is not yet feasible.
CIC members are invited to attend one of the nine Sunday Masses at St Austin’s.
All protocols as outlined by the GoK are being adhered to, with the emphasis on health and safety for those attending Mass. Please note we should also follow the age guidelines as stipulated by the Government, namely children under 13 and adults over 58 should not physically attend Mass.
You are kindly requested to switch off your video, as it is distracting to others participation in the Mass.

An Act of Spiritual Communion
My Jesus,
I believe that You
are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things,
and I desire to receive You into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment
receive You sacramentally,
come at least spiritually into my heart.
I embrace You as if You were already there
and unite myself wholly to You.
Never permit me to be separated from You.

SACRAMENTS/PRE-CONFIRMATION CLASSES
We would like to thank in a very special way, our volunteer teachers – Nthenya, Carla, David, Monisha and Peter for their valuable time and services in having online classes for the Sacraments and Pre-Confirmation Classes. Following President Uhuru Kenyatta’s address to the Nation on the 6th of July, the restriction of children below the age of 13 years, not being permitted to attend Mass, and no Sunday School Classes, online classes will be the new normal. There is also uncertainty of when the Children registered for First Holy Communion and Confirmation will actually receive these Sacraments, however when the situation normalizes, and the children are prepared, after completing the respective syllabuses, a decision on dates can be made instantly. Our teachers will communicate with Parents directly with regard to the time frame for online classes.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank both the Parents and the children for registering for online classes.
Stay safe. Stay healthy
