We are excited that your child is going to participate in the Youth Group at the CIC Church. We intend to provide programs that will allow your children to come together to enjoy fellowship and friendship with others their own age, and to help them grow in their knowledge and personal relationship with Our Lord and Savior.
We believe that our Youth are an integral part of CIC. Therefore as Adults, we have the responsibility to nurture our young people and help them grow spiritually.
With your help and encouragement we hope to achieve the following:-
Bring our young people together in a fun, safe Christian environment to share ideas and enjoy each other’s company through a wide range of activities, including bible study, sports and games, and hopefully picnics, camping trips etc.
Encourage them to take on their own roles within the Church e.g. serving mass, singing in the choir, playing instruments, helping out with CCD Classes.
Take up lead roles in the Youth Service, which we intend to hold twice a Year.
To introduce a youth page on the website/weekly bulletin where the Youth can report on the youth group activities and their interests.
